Optical Encoders

BEI high-precision optical encoders are available in a wide range of configurations to meet the exacting demands of defense, aerospace, and space programs. Our offering spans housed and un-housed (kit) designs, absolute and incremental encoders, and single-turn or multi-turn sensors — engineered for precision motion control in any environment.

Accelerometers

BEI manufactures flight-worthy pivot and jewel accelerometers and displacement sensors for flight control systems, fatigue vibration monitoring, and inertial measurement applications. Qualified and field-proven across decades of defense and aerospace programs, our accelerometers operate over a wide temperature range, deliver high accuracy, and are designed for long service life requiring no scheduled maintenance.

BEI accelerometers are deployed in fixed-wing aircraft, rotary-wing platforms, and unmanned systems where measurement reliability under sustained vibration, shock, and temperature extremes is mission-critical. Optical Scanners

BEI rotary optical scanners are fielded in military aircraft, unmanned aerial vehicles, and combat vehicle vision and targeting systems. These ruggedized scanners deliver precise, repeatable rotary motion in the most demanding environmental conditions — including wide temperature extremes, high shock and vibration environments, and high-altitude operations.

Designed for integration into electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) systems, BEI optical scanners support the precision pointing and scanning requirements of ISR payloads, weapons sighting systems, and airborne surveillance platforms.
